Expel is looking for a Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our detection pipeline. You will focus on normalization, correlation, and automated detections and suppressions, turning raw security data into actionable signals at scale.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Expel's detection pipeline (normalization, correlation, and automated detections and suppressions), from defining the six-month vision to driving execution with Engineering and UX.
- Establish relationships with internal teams (SOC, Detection Engineering, Engineering) and customers, using their input and market signals to build and prioritize a roadmap.
- Be the voice of your roadmap, clearly articulating value to Detection Engineering, SOC, Sales, Customer Success, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to effectively communicate the value of the detection pipeline internally and externally.
What you should bring
- 2–4 years of experience in product management or a directly relevant role, with experience in the security industry strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with product management and software engineering processes, from requirements definition through launch.
- Familiarity with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, and firewall products.
- Broad knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security risks in those environments.
- Experience with SIEM technologies and data pipeline challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust across cross-functional teams.
