About the Role
As our customer base evolves to serve large global enterprises, we are shifting from fragmented, regional ops handoffs to a dedicated, high-touch delivery model.
The Forward Deployed Operations Manager (FD-OM) (internally titled HR Project Delivery Manager) acts as the single operational point of contact for our enterprise clients and internal Customer Success teams. In this role, you will lead complex, multi-country onboarding implementations end-to-end. You will sit at the intersection of enterprise project management, global employment compliance, customer activation, and operational delivery—ensuring seamless global expansions and long-term customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
Enterprise Implementation & Project Management
- End-to-End Onboarding: Own and project manage end-to-end, multi-country EOR onboarding programs from HR Operations’ perspective for enterprise clients, managing timelines, risk registers, and critical path milestones.
- Single Point of Contact: Serve as the primary operational partner for enterprise Customer POCs, ensuring a coordinated and unified HR operations service delivery experience during project implementation.
- Internal Alignment: Coordinate within internal HR Ops regional teams in close partnership with Customer Success and Sales teams to align resources and streamline program execution.
Global Compliance & Operational Delivery
- Compliance Oversight: Navigate complex international labor laws, visa/immigration requirements, benefits administration, and localized employment contracts—acting as a consultant to our Customers to deliver value across multiple workstreams and tailor our offering to Customer’s needs.
- Local Ops Integration: Translate complex in-country operational nuances into clear action plans for the customer while maintaining strict adherence to local regulations.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve operational blockers, regulatory risks, and payroll setup delays across multiple jurisdictions.
Customer Relationship & Activation
- Customer Success Partnership: Partner closely with assigned Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to bridge operational delivery with long-term strategic account growth.
- Adoption & Happiness: Drive client activation and platform adoption, ensuring a white-glove onboarding experience for both enterprise admins and international employees.
- Escalations & Problem-Solving: Act as the direct escalation point for complex operational inquiries, resolving issues with high speed and precision.
Operational Scaling & Process Improvement
- Playbook Development: Document and refine implementation playbooks, scalable workflows, and enterprise delivery standards to continuously decrease time-to-first-payroll.
- Voice of Customer: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to feed enterprise client requirements back into the platform roadmap.
