About The Position

As a Payroll & Billing Specialist at G-P, you will manage day-to-day activities of multi-country payrolls for the LATAM region, including regular and off-cycle approvals and issues management.

We are looking for a focused professional with exceptional precision, a strong commitment to accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role requires someone who is highly adaptable and dedicated to ensuring the team's success in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day payroll activities for the LATAM region, specifically Mexico, including regular and off-cycle approvals and issues management.
  • Participate actively in the completion of global payroll processes and streamline payroll processes onto a singular platform.
  • Work closely with Payroll, HR, Operations, and Finance teams to collect and review payroll data inputs for assigned country payrolls.
  • Compile, review, and reconcile payroll input from G-P internal stakeholders and systems (GPP, Nova 2.0, Workday, Zoho, Zendesk, HR/Benefits Teams) and upload inputs to local service providers per agreed timelines utilizing global aggregators (Payzaar, ADP Celergo, ADP WFN).
  • Monitor and reconcile vendor payroll processing and compliance activities, reviewing outputs for completeness and accuracy.
  • Report payroll estimates for internal reporting and funding purposes.
  • Request funding of payroll, payroll taxes, and third-party payments as applicable.
  • Generate bills to clients using various cost reports, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Deliver data and reports to internal teams (HR, Finance, Operations, statutory third parties) on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Serve as an escalation point for payroll and billing inquiries from employees, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate regularly with the Global Payroll Manager and Senior Manager on project status, provider service metrics, and process harmonization opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–3 years of payroll experience across multiple countries in the LATAM region (specifically Mexico).
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with third-party payroll platforms such as ADP, Workday, or Ceridian.
  • Experience converting local currency to billing currency.
  • Experience in customer support and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Zendesk.
  • Ability to provide clear payroll information to employees based on pay slips.
  • Ability to comprehend requirements and execute multi-country payroll and billing transactions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of time-sensitive materials while maintaining data confidentiality and security.
  • Proficient time management skills with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative personality.
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple time zones and requirements for a global remote workforce.
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience managing social security and government benefit portals (IMSS, Infonavit, Fonacot, or equivalent national/international portals).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: MXN 308,000 - MXN 385,000 gross annually (plus annual bonus eligibility based on performance).
