Senior Solutions Architect - Grafana Labs

Grafana Labs is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect (Professional Services) to join our world-class Customer Experience team in Germany. This is a highly hands-on technical role helping customers solve complex problems, accelerate adoption, and drive business outcomes with Grafana.

As a Solutions Architect, you’ll act as a trusted technical partner rather than a quota-carrying seller. You will guide organizations through onboarding, implementation, and expansion, operating with one foot in code and the other in customer architecture—from container orchestration in Kubernetes to fine-tuning Prometheus queries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work effectively with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
• Understand business needs and distill information into clear technical requirements.
• Translate complex requirements into architectural solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale deployments.
• Act as a functional lead, running workshops, documenting requirements, and delivering high-impact solutions.
• Move quickly to accelerate project delivery while championing industry standards and best practices.
• Stay current on Grafana Labs offerings, observability trends, and related cloud technologies.
• Serve as a key technical resource and feedback bridge for Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Located in Germany.
• 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams using structured project management techniques.
• Direct hands-on experience with observability (o11y).
• Proven expertise in best practices for deploying and using an observability stack (visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces), preferably with Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki, and Jaeger/Tempo.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering successful enterprise customer projects.
• Strong communication skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, and ideally Tanka).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
