The Opportunity

Grafana Labs is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to join our high-growth team. As an in-house, customer-facing product expert, you will enable our worldwide growth by educating potential and existing customers, ensuring their success with the Grafana Cloud platform. You will partner closely with the Sales team to qualify and close opportunities while serving as a vital feedback loop for our Product and Engineering teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Technical Engagement: Own the technical relationship with customers to close high-velocity opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical credibility.
• Value Articulation: Partner with Sales to articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy.
• Enablement: Deliver product presentations, demos, and hands-on enablement sessions.
• Content Creation: Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, and contribute to knowledge base articles.
• Feedback Loop: Proactively communicate customer needs and competitive landscape insights to internal product teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Location: Ideally located in the Central Region of the US.
• Experience: 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• Communication: First-class written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical advantages clearly.
• Mindset: A technical mindset with a desire to grow; ability to thrive in a remote-first, collaborative, and innovation-driven startup environment.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within an international, remote-first team.

Compensation & Rewards

• Salary: OTE range of $182,000 - $226,000 (US-based).
• Equity: All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) to ensure shared ownership in our success.
• Balance: Global annual leave policy of 30 days per annum, including 3 reserved Grafana Shutdown Days.
