Role Overview

As Data Platform Manager, you will lead and develop the Data team while building and evolving a self-service data platform that empowers Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and evolve a self-service data platform that enables Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.
• Define and maintain data quality standards, SLAs/SLOs, monitoring, and incident-response processes.
• Own GTM-facing data support, manage data access appropriately, and identify and address potential PII exposure.
• Establish canonical data models, consistent metric definitions, and modelling standards across priority domains.
• Establish effective planning, delivery processes, documentation, and ways of working, including the use of AI tools.
• Own quarterly data OKRs and prioritise a balanced roadmap covering business needs and measure success through business impact and improved efficiency.
• Directly manage and develop the Data team through regular one-to-ones, feedback, performance management, and hiring.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of hands-on data experience across data engineering and analytics, comfortable building data pipelines.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency with Python, SQL, Snowflake (or equivalent), real-time analytics (Tinybird, ClickHouse, or similar), and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Data Architecture: Proven experience building reusable datasets, documentation, or a metrics/BI layer that non-data teams adopted and used independently.
• Leadership: Experience managing and developing data engineers or analysts.
