Head/VP of Product (AI Process Insights & Automation) - Mimica

What we are building

Mimica is an AI-powered process intelligence platform enabling enterprises and individuals to reclaim their most precious resource: time. Repetitive tasks and redundant processes quietly drain productivity and creativity—not because companies don't want to become more efficient, but because they don't know where to start.

At the click of a button, Mimica identifies every process improvement and agentic AI opportunity across an enterprise. Our software turns everyday work into data-backed decisions, helping companies remove process bottlenecks, automate the right tasks, and upskill teams with precision and confidence.

We’ve raised $26 million in Series B financing and are scaling fast. Backed by investors including Khosla Ventures and Paladin Capital, our proprietary AI technology is trusted by Fortune 500 companies to accelerate transformation. Mimica is recognized as a Top 100 AI Start-up by Accel and an industry Leader by the Everest Group.

Behind our platform is a team of exceptionally talented people, remote-first and globally distributed across 16+ countries. We're looking for curious, collaborative people excited to solve complex problems. You'll join a fast-paced environment built on high ownership, bottom-up thinking, and transparent, open communication.

Mission

You will be the first Head of Product at Mimica, leading the product function through its next major growth phase.

This role is about leading a product organisation as it scales with ambition and intention. You will own the macro strategy, our market positioning, and product roadmap, raise the bar on product management, and introduce the structures, principles, and ways of working that help teams make better decisions and move faster with confidence.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, CTO, Product Managers, Designers, and leaders across Engineering, Machine Learning, and Go-to-Market functions to set and align on strategy, prioritise effectively, and ensure we continue building products that deliver clear customer and business value.

We believe the most important product decisions happen before a line of code is written. Your impact as Head of Product will be to embed a deep discovery mindset across the entire company.

Part of your day-to-day

  • Define, own, and champion the global product strategy and macro-level roadmap, identifying gaps, shaping priorities, and setting long-term vision in partnership with the C-suite.
  • Document and communicate the product vision and strategy to improve clarity, alignment, and actionable direction.
  • Mentor and develop Product Managers and Designers, defining career ladders and growth paths to assure team progression.
  • Support and unblock your team to maintain a healthy, sustainable, and high-performing culture.
  • Improve the operating model of the product function: prioritise and plan rituals; bring customer, market, and competitive insights earlier in decision-making.
  • Align stakeholders and build consensus when priorities or opinions conflict.
  • Handle executive and customer escalations and protect team focus when competing priorities arise.
  • Ensure a culture of strong ownership, transparency, and initiative while meeting core business goals.
  • Forecast team capacity needs and partner with the People team to recruit top-tier talent.

  • Proven track record operating as Head of Product, Director of Product, or VP of Product in a comparable scale-up environment.
  • Experience building and managing enterprise products in data-heavy, process optimisation, AI, or automation categories.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly driving alignment between senior leaders in Engineering and Commercial functions.
  • Demonstrated experience building products powered by in-house developed ML/AI technology.
  • Superior judgment on prioritization and roadmap decisions when navigating complex trade-offs.
  • Strong product and commercial instinct with an uncompromising commitment to customer value.
  • Confidence handling disagreement, aligning diverse stakeholders, and navigating ambiguity with maturity.
