About the Role

Notion’s Content Onboarding team builds the systems that help customers move content into Notion, get started faster, and keep growing reliably. You’ll partner with product and engineering leaders to shape the future of our content importers, internal administrative tooling, and compliance workflows.

Note: This role is based in Hyderabad, India. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days) to facilitate in-person collaboration.

What You'll Achieve

• Technical Vision: Shape the strategy for import systems, enabling customers to pull content from various sources into a trustworthy system of record.
• Roadmap Execution: By your 90th day, you will have clarified the near-term roadmap and de-risked technical decisions for importers, exports, and admin tooling.
• AI Integration: Connect AI-era and agentic workflow patterns to onboarding experiences, using AI to improve product judgment and engineering quality.
• Engineering Excellence: Establish reliable systems, clear operational standards, and a steady operating rhythm with HQ by the end of your first year.

Skills You'll Need

• Technical Leadership: Ability to represent team work, maintain a high engineering bar, and de-risk decisions through clear processes and delegation.
• Strategic Planning: Experience crafting and maintaining multi-quarter team strategies that align with adjacent product and engineering teams.
• Team Development: Proven experience developing senior engineers and building high-performing teams with durable standards.
• Distributed Leadership: Ability to set direction for a local team while staying tightly coordinated with cross-functional partners across time zones.
