About The Role

Build AI-powered developer experience that makes engineers enabled. You’ll join our Developer Experience team, united by the mission of “Engineers can do their work quickly, easily, comfortably, and safely.” You’ll be part of a team spanning the US and India that turns ambiguous goals into shippable projects that improve developer throughput and reliability.

Note: This role is based in Hyderabad, India. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (our Anchor Days).

What You'll Achieve

• AI Integration: Build an AI harness to auto-resolve bugs reported for the Notion app.
• CI/CD Optimization: Improve CI and build reliability with a goal of 5-minute CI times.
• Dev Environments: Improve developer features for our in-house, AI-first remote development environments.
• Roadmap Execution: Execute a shared roadmap with our US engineering team to increase developer satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineers across the company to deliver an industry-leading developer experience using tools like the TypeScript language server, lint tooling, and the Notion CLI.

Skills You'll Need

• 10+ years of experience with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Proven ability to create technical roadmaps and lead large-scale projects.
• Experience building or operating developer tooling (CI/CD, infrastructure, internal platforms).
• Expertise in creating with AI agents and hardening them (guardrails, evaluation, testing).
• Proficiency in agentic workflows (code-based orchestration, scalability, long-running workflows).
• Systems-level debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring and coaching.

You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we expect every Notino to be intellectually curious and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work.
