Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Europe/UK-based ingestion pipeline engineer to help us scale our systems to process billions of events. You should be excited about designing elegant, high-throughput systems and ensuring data integrity.
Ideal Experience
- High-throughput data processing (analytics platforms, metric collection, log aggregation).
- Designing distributed systems using Node.JS, Rust, or similar languages.
- Working with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, S3, and Redis.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing infrastructure to capture, process, and distribute 10s of billions of events per month.
- Owning the ingestion pipeline end-to-end.
- Building open-source software that powers product analytics, feature flags, and CDP.
Requirements
- Experience with highly scalable, event-driven distributed systems.
- Background in developing multi-tenant SaaS products.
- Proficiency in Node.JS, Go, Rust, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis at scale.
- Ability to ship changes quickly while maintaining system reliability.
Nice to Have
- Experience with customer data platforms or data analytics systems.
- Experience carrying a pager and managing incidents.
- Comfort with provisioning and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of benchmarking, profiling, and observability practices.
