About the Role
As the first dedicated Post-Sales Operations Manager at Spellbook, your job is to make all GTM teams measurably better. You will define the function by providing leadership with actionable data, building systems that absorb administrative work for CSMs and sales reps, and designing scalable business processes.
Responsibilities
- Building the Reporting Layer: Own post-sale reporting end-to-end (NRR, GRR, churn, expansion, time-to-value, seat activation, adoption, CSM capacity/coverage) and surface at-risk cohorts early.
- Owning Renewal & Churn Forecasting: Build reliable renewal forecasts, risk-scoring models, and early warning signals tied to defined playbooks.
- Engineering the CS Tech Stack: Administer post-sale systems (Vitally and HubSpot) and manage the post-sale data model including account hierarchy, licenses, and lifecycle stages.
- Enabling New Business Processes: Design operating models for customer segmentation, onboarding, QBRs, renewals, expansion, escalations, and save motions.
- Connecting the Dots Across Teams: Lead connective-tissue projects like sales-to-CS handoffs, CS-to-support escalations, and product feedback loops.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Customer Success Operations, Revenue Operations, or GTM Systems at B2B software companies, including experience building a function from scratch.
- Hands-on business or technical administration of a Customer Success platform.
- Fluent CRM reporting skills and familiarity with BI tools like Omni.
- Strong business acumen regarding post-sales metrics (NRR, GRR, churn, expansion, time-to-value).
- Process-curious mindset with experience leveraging AI tools (LLMs, agents, automation) to reduce admin burdens.
- Strong cross-functional influence and project management capabilities.
