Senior Product Manager - Spotted Zebra

Spotted Zebra is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape and drive our next-generation AI recruitment product in an evolving AI product environment. Around 40% of the role focuses on delivery, execution, and operational coordination, working side-by-side with engineers to translate user and commercial needs into shipped SaaS capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing

You will take ownership of our AI recruitment product area, balancing strategic direction with execution while working closely with AI/ML, Data Science, Design, and Occupational Psychologist teams.

• Product Ownership: Own a key product area in close collaboration with the Head of Product, setting priorities and prioritizing the backlog across experience improvements, technical constraints, and new features.
• Delivery & Execution: Drive product initiatives from discovery through to launch, proactively resolving blockers and translating user, business, and operational needs into clear requirements.
• User & Data Insights: Deepen user understanding through qualitative research, stakeholder collaboration, and quantitative data analysis to establish clear success metrics.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Engineering, AI/ML, Design, Data Science, Operations, and Commercial teams to align on goals and delivery timelines.
• AI Innovation: Leverage AI tools to accelerate discovery and delivery workflows while embedding responsible AI practices into product development.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Proven experience managing complex web-based SaaS products in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
• Strong hands-on execution and delivery skills, with experience shipping products quickly and managing delivery end-to-end.
• Technical fluency and confidence working closely with engineering teams (engineering background or product-engineering mindset highly valued).
• Ability to refine, document, and communicate clear product requirements across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, evolving priorities, and complex or legacy product ecosystems.
• Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to drive product decisions and prioritize backlogs.
• Ability to create lightweight UX wireframes and user flows when needed.
• Understanding of AI fundamentals, responsible AI product development, and experience using AI tools to improve product workflows.
• Experience working with agile product methodologies within remote or distributed teams.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience within HR Tech, ATS platforms, recruitment technology, or people operations tooling.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development/prototyping tools (e.g., Claude, Lovable, Cursor).
• Prior experience navigating complex or legacy product ecosystems.
