Director of Accounting - Transcend

Role Overview

Transcend is seeking a Director of Accounting to direct our accounting operations and oversee the team, driving organizational compliance with US GAAP standards, internal governance, and financial audits. Positioned with high organizational visibility, you will deliver critical reporting to leadership while partnering closely with leaders across operational functions.

This is a remote, exempt, full-time position based in the United States. Pacific Standard Time (PST) working hours are preferred. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Scale reporting infrastructure and drive continuous improvements to existing systems to increase efficiencies, automate processes, and improve reporting timelines.
• Manage end-of-period closes, audit preparation, treasury operations, and tax compliance.
• Establish documented controls to maintain the integrity of financial reporting and corporate accounting principles in compliance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors to support annual audit procedures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Accounting
• Strong working knowledge of SaaS and ASC 606

Preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential
• Experience working at an Accounting Services Firm

Compensation & Benefits

• USA Base Pay Range: $184,000 — $203,000 USD
• USA Target Variable Pay Range: $66,000 — $72,000 USD (On-Target Earnings OTE)
