About the Role

We are seeking a Backend-leaning Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems. You will leverage JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL databases, and AWS to develop innovative solutions for user, group, and membership management.

Note: This role is remote, but includes in-office anchor days (Mon, Tue, Fri) if you reside within commuting distance of our SF, NY, London, or Berlin offices.

What You Will Do

• Deliver secure, reliable, and scalable services that exceed industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage large-scale projects and dependencies.
• Maintain and operate services at scale, including participation in on-call rotations.
• Implement identity synchronization and lifecycle management (SCIM).
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes).
• Build high-quality enterprise software using TypeScript, REST APIs, and JSON.

About You

• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of security architecture: LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, SSO, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and web protocols (XML, SOAP, JSON, REST).
• Familiarity with access control models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC).
• Practical experience with SQL and Node.js application development.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
