About the Role

As an Engineering Intern at Vercel, you will be an important part of our engineering team, working on real projects that impact our products and customers. You will be mentored by experienced engineers and given opportunities to grow and learn.

What You Will Do

• Own an end-to-end project: Scope it with your manager, build it, ship it, and see it in customers' hands.
• Write and review production code: Work alongside the engineers who maintain it.
• Debug real systems: Trace issues through the stack and fix the root cause.
• Communicate progress: Clearly articulate status and surface blockers early.

About You

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Experience with Go or Rust is a bonus.
• You dig into problems to understand the 'why' behind technical issues.
• You are a self-starter who communicates well in writing, as much of our work is asynchronous.
• Fluent with AI tooling; you use it to move faster while maintaining the ability to debug and defend your code.
• Based in San Francisco, willing and able to commute Mon/Tues/Fri.
