Senior Developer Educator - Webflow

Webflow is looking for a Senior Developer Educator to help create best-in-class video, written, and hands-on education content for Webflow customers and web builders. In this role, you will present on camera as a developer educator, build production-grade sites using Webflow for courses and tutorials, and learn how to integrate Webflow with other services and technologies.

This position can be based at the San Francisco HQ or remote within the United States, with required travel to San Francisco approximately one week per month. You will report directly to the Director, Education Video.

What You'll Do

  • Build reference websites: Develop production-quality reference sites and components that anchor Webflow University courses, tutorials, and live training—holding up to developer and designer scrutiny.
  • Shape technical curriculum: Partner with instructional designers and video producers to scope lessons, technical depth, and learning outcomes before production begins.
  • Present technical content on camera: Host tutorials, course lessons, and live sessions, breaking down code and technical craft clearly and engagingly.
  • Collaborate on video production: Work alongside video producers and instructional designers through pre-production, filming, and review.
  • Serve as technical SME: Act as the education team's technical subject matter expert, reviewing content for accuracy against real-world development workflows.
  • Maintain the technical library: Keep educational content current with platform updates, identifying outdated materials that need rebuilding or newly released features to teach.
  • Partner with product and engineering: Stay aligned with upcoming features and roadmaps to ensure education content launches in tandem with product releases.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technical education combined with web development and/or design.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to write, review, and explain code—leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and refine quality.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching technical concepts to diverse audiences through video, documentation, courses, workshops, or community initiatives.
  • Willingness and comfort presenting on camera, whether from an outline or script, in-studio or from a home studio setup.
  • Ability to travel to San Francisco one week per month if working remotely.

Qualities for Success

  • Passion for deep understanding of systems and code, not just shipping them.
  • Ability to address multiple audiences: visual developers, experienced engineers, and non-technical marketers.
  • Receptiveness to feedback on on-camera work as craft iteration.
  • Eagerness to embrace AI workflows and emerging web technologies to expand educational impact.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $113,000 - $155,000 USD (tiered by geographic pay zones across the US).
  • Bonus: Eligible for Webflow's annual company-wide WIN bonus program.
  • Equity: RSUs in a growing, privately held company.
  • Health Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with most premiums covered.
  • Parental Leave: 12 weeks paid parental leave for all parents (plus 6+ weeks additional for birthing parents).
  • Retirement: 401(k) with 100% employer match up to $6,000/year.
  • Time Off: Flexible vacation, paid company holidays, and a sabbatical program.
  • Stipends & Wellness: Monthly stipends for wellness and home-office expenses (e.g., Wi-Fi, fitness) and mental health support.
