Senior Forward Deployed Engineer - Webflow

About the Role

Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams. We are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to help us build production-grade agentic web operations. You will work at the intersection of product, sales, and engineering, turning first-of-kind deployments into blueprints that shape our platform roadmap.

Note: This role requires an in-person onboarding session in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with strategic enterprise accounts to map business-critical marketing and web workflows.
• Design and build agentic workflows using Webflow APIs, CMS, and AI capabilities.
• Build integrations between Webflow and external platforms (ad platforms, CRM, data pipelines).
• Implement human-in-the-loop safeguards, observability, and permission boundaries.
• Create reusable architecture blueprints and reference implementations.
• Collaborate pre-sale to de-risk complex AI or integration concerns.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in solutions engineering, forward deployment, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong working knowledge of AI, APIs, automation, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Experience designing systems that manage live web properties at scale.
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n).
• Ability to work through ambiguity and deliver in first-of-kind contexts.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for embedded engagements.
