Senior Software Engineer, Build Loop - Webflow

About the role

Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Developer Productivity team and help build the next generation of Agentic Codebases.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Scaffolding: Design and build Nest.js service scaffolding to enable product teams to stand up new backend services in our monorepo.
• Platform Primitives: Implement paved paths and generators to ensure new services are production-ready from day one.
• Infrastructure Ownership: Manage the deployment story for services on Cloudflare, including interoperability with AWS and Kubernetes (Pulumi/Argo CD).
• Migration Strategy: Lead large-scale codebase migrations into the monorepo, turning them into repeatable recipes.
• Customer Partnership: Partner with product teams to identify friction points and encode solutions into tooling and agent-assisted workflows.
• Engineering Citizenship: Contribute to engineering blogs, hiring processes, and internal hackathons.

About you

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production backend services.
• Demonstrated expertise in backend service design, including service boundaries, contracts, and data ownership.
• Fluent in TypeScript and Node.js; comfortable with edge runtimes.
• Hands-on experience with monorepo tooling (e.g., Nx, Turborepo).
• Strong written communication skills and a proactive approach to AI-assisted workflows.
• Business-level fluency in English.
