Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Webflow

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to improve the reliability and stability of Webflow’s customer-facing, production infrastructure, serving millions of page views per hour. You will ensure our platform remains secure and scalable for over 2 million users across 190 countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Platform Ownership: Evolve the compute layer, EKS fleet, serverless infrastructure, networking, and cloud operations across AWS and GCP.
• Infrastructure as Code: Design and maintain our IaC foundation, evolving patterns and shared components.
• Networking: Design and maintain the networking layer to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
• Observability: Improve dashboards, alerts, and SLOs to ensure issues are caught proactively.
• AI Automation: Build and maintain AI-powered automation for cloud management, including policy-as-code, drift detection, and LLM-assisted runbook generation.
• Culture: Help define the culture of our growing international team.

About You

• 5+ years of experience owning and operating cloud infrastructure in high-availability, customer-facing environments.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and managing Kubernetes clusters at scale (upgrades, node group management, autoscaling).
• Proficiency with IaC tools like Pulumi or Terraform.
• Experience navigating multi-region or multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Proactive embrace of AI and emerging technologies to drive faster outcomes.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Karpenter or Kubernetes-native scaling tools.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience building AI-assisted infrastructure tooling (cost optimization, anomaly detection).
