Senior Platform Engineer, Infrastructure - Webflow

About the Role

Webflow is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and own our foundational cloud and source control infrastructure. This role is distinct from product-focused teams; you will build the corporate cloud foundation from the ground up, including multi-account architecture, networking, DNS, PKI, and secrets management.

Key Responsibilities

• Foundational Services: Design and maintain VPCs, DNS, PKI, and secrets management.
• Cloud Landing Zone: Own multi-region connectivity, account structure, tagging standards, and cost-efficient scaling.
• Infrastructure as Code: Build and maintain IaC pipelines (Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible) for automated, repeatable changes.
• Self-Service Pathways: Design 'golden-path' templates for code hosting and deployment to enable self-service without platform team intervention.
• Guardrails: Implement policy-as-code, cost controls, and security baselines to ensure safe self-service.
• Observability: Develop foundational logging, metrics, and tracing infrastructure.
• Collaboration: Partner with SRE on platform reliability and manage cloud vendor relationships.

Requirements

• 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and multi-account architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible).
• Experience with GitOps-style delivery pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Solid grounding in networking, security, and observability tooling (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with FinOps practices.
