Job Summary
The Product Quality Analyst II is responsible for testing web applications, Web APIs, and Batch applications. This role involves creating and executing test cases, documenting defects, monitoring bug tracking systems, and utilizing quality assurance methodologies. The analyst will collaborate with software engineers and business analysts, exhibiting strong problem-solving skills and creativity to enhance client satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Create test cases to support business requirements of Web Applications, Web APIs, and Batch Applications of all complexity levels.
- Execute manual and automated test cases.
- Thoroughly document defects and record test results in the test case management system with comprehensive descriptions.
- Collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor defect tracking systems and manage bug tracking.
- Apply quality assurance methodologies and knowledge of the SDLC.
- Ask probing questions and put forethought into potential solution impacts.
- Apply creative thinking and propose solutions to grow our business by delighting clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned while complying with all policies and standards.
What You Need to Make the Cut
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 years of experience in Manual or Automated Testing.
- Proven ability to break software and analyze test outcomes thoroughly.
- Previous exposure to user interface development, billing/payroll modules, or import/export data files.
- Highly motivated, innovative, self-directed thinker with an eagerness to stay up-to-date with current trends.
- Knowledge of Gherkin test format and QA best practices.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $65,000 to $99,000 per year (determined by applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment).
- Bonus: Eligible to participate in the quarterly bonus incentive plan.
