We are looking for an energetic and creative Senior Communications Manager with experience in analyst relations (AR) to join our communications team and shape our market perception.
What your day will look like
- Strategy Execution: Prepare and execute analyst-focused communications plans for product announcements, partnerships, and initiatives.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use AI and market research to analyze trends, assess analyst sentiment, and ensure our portfolio is accurately represented in GenAI platforms.
- Narrative Development: Craft compelling narratives about Canonical and its products in line with our company vision.
- Relationship Management: Manage direct analyst relationships through online briefings and industry events.
- Measurement: Implement measurement frameworks to report impact to leadership and manage AR program spend.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Alliances, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment.
What we are looking for in you
- Extensive experience in communications with proven achievements in AR and market research.
- Experience managing technology communications (agency or in-house) or global AR programs.
- Track record of delivering innovative communications campaigns in the cloud, SaaS, or open source space.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to develop measurement frameworks.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for forging relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira) is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
