We are looking for an outstanding Senior Social Media Specialist to join our communications team and drive our brand equity through community engagement and thought leadership.

What your day will look like

  • Strategy: Develop and own the communications strategy across multiple channels, focusing on planning, messaging quality, and timely delivery.
  • Analytics: Deliver regular analysis and reporting on communications channels, content performance, and campaign results.
  • Growth: Support the growth and nurturing of Canonical’s enterprise audience while increasing product adoption.
  • Content: Create compelling copy and assets that align with our brand personality and drive audience action.
  • Campaigns: Create awareness for integrated campaigns, product launches, webinars, and industry announcements.
  • Distribution: Package product offerings and educational material creatively, overseeing distribution strategy across all channels.

What we are looking for in you

  • Deep experience with major social media platforms and creative judgment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of social media management and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop measurement frameworks.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in video production and its application in social media.
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal or external events.
