
The Role
Canonical is seeking a Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager to join our team in Taipei. You will work with leading semiconductor companies to combine open-source adoption with innovative hardware optimizations. This role involves developing joint product roadmaps, driving go-to-market strategies, and conceptualizing new business models to ensure a frictionless experience from cloud to edge.
What You Will Do
- Represent Canonical and its software solutions to silicon partners.
- Analyze partner strategies and roadmaps to identify alignment with Canonical’s product portfolio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to define joint solutions.
- Manage project execution and ensure robust delivery of joint programs.
- Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies, including market messaging and launch campaigns.
- Negotiate and manage commercial contracts.
What We Are Looking For
- B.A./B.S./B.E. degree in science, technology, or engineering.
- Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
- Experience in software and system architecture (preferred).
- Proven customer-facing experience in business development or technology strategy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical material.
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Self-motivated and disciplined for a hybrid/remote-first environment.
- Experience with open-source business models and program management is a plus.
