
The Role
Ubuntu is the fastest-growing enterprise Linux and the leading platform for public cloud computing. As a Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager, you will work with leading semiconductor companies to combine open-source adoption with innovative hardware optimizations. You will develop joint product roadmaps, drive delivery, formulate go-to-market plans, and conceptualize new business models to ensure a frictionless experience from cloud to edge.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Canonical and its solutions to silicon partners.
- Analyze partner strategies and technologies to identify alignment with Canonical’s product roadmap.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and sales to define joint solutions.
- Manage project plans, track execution, and negotiate contracts.
- Develop joint Go-To-Market strategies, market messaging, and launch campaigns.
What We Are Looking For
- B.A./B.S./B.E. degree in science, technology, or engineering.
- Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
- Experience in software and system architecture (preferred).
- Customer-facing experience in business development or technology strategy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex material.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Self-motivated and disciplined for a remote-first environment.
- Experience with open-source business models and program management is a plus.
