Senior Marketing Systems and Automation Manager - Cloudflare

About the Role

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Marketing Systems and Automation Manager to own and govern our marketing operations engine. You will be responsible for the intake queue, campaign operations, and lead flow, while driving the transition from manual processes to an orchestrated, signal-driven demand engine using Cloudflare OS.

What You'll Do

• Run the Operations Engine: Manage day-to-day demand generation operations, including intake, provisioning, and lead flow. Direct a distributed contractor bench of architects and developers.
• Governance & Standards: Own data governance, lead scoring, lifecycle models, and attribution. Ensure global consistency through version-controlled, documented systems.
• Drive Agentic Automation: Transition manual workflows into governed, automated processes within Cloudflare OS. Identify opportunities to replace human-in-the-loop tasks with scalable automation.
• Systems Architecture: Partner with Engineering and Digital Marketing to define data-layer schemas, identity resolution, and the MarTech ecosystem roadmap.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the senior systems lead for BizApps, IT, Engineering, and BI teams. Manage MarTech budgets and vendor relationships.

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in marketing operations (intake, campaign ops, lead flow).
• Deep expertise in marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
• Proven track record of driving automation that reduces manual operational work.
• Strong command of data governance, lead lifecycle, and multi-touch attribution.
• Experience leading teams or directing contractors/vendors.
• Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to translate marketing needs into technical architecture.

Bonus Points

• Experience with server-side tracking (e.g., Zaraz), CDPs, and privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
• Familiarity with ABM platforms (e.g., Demandbase) and intent-data ecosystems.
• Experience building internal automation platforms or replacing SaaS tools with custom builds.
