The Opportunity

We are adding a Senior Principal to our Industry Coverage team with a focus on covering clean fuels and other 45Z producing clientele. Industry coverage is responsible for building relationships with and advising developers, IPPs, utilities, manufacturers, and sponsors on capital structure and formation across debt, tax equity, tax credits, and future financial products.

What You’ll Do

• Maximize opportunities and client value in your coverage universe
• Build enduring relationships at senior and executive levels
• Serve as an expert and thought partner to clients on market trends using Crux Market Intelligence
• Win mandates across all Crux product lines, including debt, tax credits, and tax equity
• Advise clients on capital structure and capital formation strategy
• Support clients through transaction execution in conjunction with Crux product groups
• Ensure clients experience maximum value from Crux software and intelligence platforms
• Collaborate with product groups to develop new financial offerings
• Iterate with software and AI teams based on customer feedback
• Engage with the market through speaking opportunities and webinars
• Contribute to the development of Market Intelligence and intellectual property

What You Bring

• 10–15+ years of experience in power & utilities or renewables finance
• Significant transactional experience across debt, equity, M&A, or tax equity
• Relationships with senior stakeholders at Clean Fuels (45Z) producers
• Prior investment banking coverage experience preferred
• Deep expertise in clean energy and infrastructure capital markets
• Motivated by hitting goals, supporting clients, and high-ownership environments
• High ethical standards and collaborative orientation
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
• FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain under Crux broker-dealer sponsorship)
