In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and business partnership for our Marketing organization. What You'll Do
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Marketing organization.
- Serve as the primary finance advisor to Marketing leadership, helping them optimize resource allocation and evaluate the effectiveness of growth initiatives across Brand, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing.
- Manage the end-to-end Marketing budget, including monthly close support, variance analysis, and all planning and forecasting activity.
- Prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and leadership meetings.
- Develop and maintain financial models to track Marketing spend effectiveness and evaluate investments, headcount, and project ROI.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to build integrated models that connect top-of-funnel activities and pipeline metrics to downstream revenue.
- Partner closely with Revenue Operations and Accounting to ensure alignment between top-of-funnel metrics, pipeline forecasts, and the financial close process.
- Partner with broader FP&A and GTM teams across Sales, Marketing, and Product.
- Leverage AI tools to reduce manual reconciliation work for both FP&A and Marketing teams, automate tasks, and increase capacity for deeper business partnership and analysis.
You Should Have
- 7+ years of relevant experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance, including experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
- Significant experience in a business partnering role; experience directly supporting Marketing leadership in software or cloud businesses is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and financial skills with proficiency in forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate financial results into clear recommendations for diverse audiences.
- Mastery of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to automate FP&A workflows.
- Experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive, NetSuite) and marketing planning tools (e.g., Allocadia, Uptempo) is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- National Pay Range: $116,900 – $149,000 USD (commensurate with experience)
