What We Do
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC).
Huntress now secures more than 5M endpoints and 14M identities worldwide. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.
What You’ll Do
We are looking for an experienced product management leader to join our growing team. As a Director of Product Management at Huntress, you will be a “player-coach” responsible for discovering, developing, launching, and driving the success of our ITDR and ISPM products, and for providing overall leadership for those offerings, including two initial direct reports. These products will be a part of the Huntress Security Platform, serving SMB and mid-sized clients through MSP/MSSP and Reseller channels.
You will own the vision, goals, and execution of a SaaS offering that keeps SMB and mid-market customers safe and secure online with cutting-edge capabilities currently only found in the largest enterprises. You will work closely with company founders, engineering leaders, support, sales, marketing teams, and other Product Managers.
Responsibilities
- Work with the product team and relevant stakeholders to set the ITDR and ISPM product vision and strategy, and clearly articulate the business value.
- Work directly with a small team to discover, prototype, validate, and launch a substantial new capability that will enhance our existing offering.
- Provide management, coaching, and leadership to product management staff working on ITDR and ISPM.
- Analyze market trends and perform competitor analysis and research to drive strategy, pricing, and the product roadmap.
- Decipher and articulate ambiguous client needs and mold them into successful, innovative solutions.
- Work with designers, engineers, and architects to create detailed business requirements, epics, and user stories.
- Prioritize features by assessing alignment with the broader product strategy and unmet market needs.
- Participate as a key contributor in all phases of product development, from discovery to launch.
- Drive and manage product roadmap and go-to-market strategy by working closely with marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing to drive and execute product launches.
- Derive feedback and insights from customers through face-to-face interaction throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Serve as the intermediary between engineering, senior leadership, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with design and engineering teams to produce mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Manage and drive results from user experience testing.
- Provide product metrics, including conversion rate, churn rate, and MRR, to track and analyze product strategy success in partnership with product operations.
What You Bring To The Team
- 8+ years of experience in a product management role with past responsibility for cloud-focused security products, ITDR, and/or ISPM products.
- Demonstrated success driving longer-term vision and strategy resulting in competitive outperformance.
- Experience leading product innovation, feature ideation, delivery, and launch.
- Experience working in an agile development environment using agile development tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create epics and stories for engineering.
- Experience with products delivered from AWS or other cloud environments.
- Strong creative and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience with G Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms).
