About The Role

Jane is looking for a Senior Manager of Business Systems to own the configuration, integration, and stewardship of the systems and tools Jane runs on, ensuring those choices serve a coherent, well-instrumented data architecture.

As Jane scales, and as data, automation, and AI become more central to operations, we need a leader who can bring rigor, requirements, and a systems-thinking lens to the full Business Systems landscape. You'll partner with functional leaders across Jane to make smart tool selection calls, set the standards for how systems get configured, and own the integration and pipeline layer that connects them.

What Impact We’re Looking for You to Make

  • Consolidated Tool Landscape: Build a consolidated view of Jane's tools landscape—owning what we're using, where, how it's configured, what it costs, and future roadmaps. Identify overlaps, gaps, and consolidation opportunities.
  • Tool Selection & Procurement: Lead tool selection and procurement by partnering with functional leaders to evaluate, select, and procure new business systems with a rigorous requirements lens and an eye for total cost of ownership.
  • Executive Partnership: Work with leaders in Revenue, Customer, People, Finance, and Marketing to understand workflows, surface trade-offs, and ensure systems are coherent with Jane's broader architecture.
  • Strategic Thought Partnership: Challenge assumptions, define future-state processes, and translate business needs into scalable systems, data, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Configuration & Administration Standards: Establish standards for tool configuration, change management, and review processes, moving from informal admin work to a disciplined practice.
  • Integration & Middleware Layer: Design and operate the connective tissue between systems (starting with key GTM systems via iPaaS, APIs, event streams) so data flows reliably.
  • Data Ingestion & Pipeline Infrastructure: Partner closely with the Analytics team to ensure data flows are set up consistently in both directions between source systems and the data warehouse.

What Experience We Need

  • 8+ years of professional experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or a comparable function, including 4+ years leading teams.
  • Demonstrated track record owning a business systems function at scale in a SaaS or similarly complex software company (ideally scaling through 500–1,500 employees).
  • Hands-on experience driving business requirements, solution design, and translating complex business problems into scalable technology solutions.
  • Direct experience implementing a major CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce), including configuration, integration, and data architecture decisions.
  • Strong technical foundation across modern SaaS tooling (CRM, finance, HR, support, ticketing, identity, access, and iPaaS/integration patterns).
  • Experience designing and operating an integration architecture (iPaaS vs. point-to-point vs. event-driven patterns).
  • Experience partnering with Data & Analytics teams on ingestion, pipeline infrastructure, and source-of-truth practices.
  • Strong vendor selection, procurement, and stakeholder management skills.
