Senior Director, Platform Prioritization & Delivery - Mission Lane

About the Role

Mission Lane is looking for a Senior Director to own cross-functional prioritization and delivery, reporting to the SVP of Product, Platform, & Delivery. This is a new function at Mission Lane, and you will be responsible for building the framework, running day-to-day operations, and driving alignment across the organization.

What You'll Own

• Team Leadership: Manage a team of four Delivery Managers embedded in focus areas (Collections, Data & AI/Model Process, Portfolio Management, and Acquisitions).
• Prioritization Framework: Maintain the single source of truth for all in-flight initiatives, ensuring accuracy and executive trust.
• Operating Cadence: Run weekly prioritization meetings, MBRs, and QBRs with the rigor required for executive scrutiny.
• Delivery Standards: Establish company-wide delivery standards, frameworks, and tooling that teams actually adopt.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Facilitate alignment across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Credit, Marketing, Finance, and Legal/Compliance to resolve trade-offs.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead post-initiative retrospectives to drive concrete improvements in planning and delivery.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: Proven track record in product, program, or technical delivery leadership within complex, highly regulated environments.
• Strategic Execution: Experience building prioritization or delivery processes from the ground up.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to align senior and executive stakeholders across diverse functions without relying on direct authority.
• Tooling Expertise: Hands-on experience with modern portfolio and workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Align, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet).
• Leadership: Demonstrated success in hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Travel: Ability to travel ~4+ times per year for in-person collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in consumer lending, credit cards, or regulated financial services.
• Experience scaling delivery governance in fast-growing, mid-sized organizations.
• Expertise in configuring enterprise-grade portfolio tools (e.g., Jira Align, Dragonboat, Productboard).
• Experience building portfolio dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to track velocity and business impact.
