Senior Media Intelligence Analyst - Muck Rack

We’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented Senior Media Intelligence Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality Media Intelligence services to Muck Rack clients in Bulgaria.

As a Senior Media Intelligence Analyst, you’ll combine editorial judgment, media analysis, quality assurance, and operational ownership to deliver curated coverage reports, newsletters, executive digests, and other Media Intelligence services. You’ll play an important human-in-the-loop role within AI-supported and automated workflows, reviewing and refining outputs to ensure they meet client requirements and Muck Rack’s quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Own the day-to-day delivery and quality of AI-supported Media Intelligence services, including curated coverage reports, curated newsletters, executive digests, and other client deliverables
• Review, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, relevance, editorial quality, and alignment with client requirements
• Perform hands-on editorial and analytical work, including summarizing media coverage, tagging and categorizing content, selecting relevant articles, and grouping related stories
• Manage assigned services against established briefs, quality standards, and deadlines, proactively identifying and escalating risks that could affect delivery
• Partner with Customer Service to implement client requests and changes to ongoing Media Intelligence services
• Collaborate with Service Automation and Information Technology teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and support service and workflow improvements
• Work with Sales and MI Solutions on sample and trial services for prospective and existing clients
• Use internal systems to document issues, escalate unresolved requests, and follow through with relevant teams until resolution
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date service documentation, including client briefs and operational guides
• Contribute to individual and team performance goals while helping maintain consistent quality across Media Intelligence services

What You'll Need to Have

• 4+ years of relevant experience in media monitoring, media intelligence, media analysis, editorial operations, or a related field
• Hands-on experience reviewing and validating media content, including summarization, content selection, categorization, tagging, or digest creation
• Strong editorial judgment and writing skills, with the ability to turn complex media coverage into concise, accurate, and useful summaries
• Experience independently managing recurring client deliverables or services, including requirements, deadlines, quality standards, and competing priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying quality issues, resolving operational challenges, and improving processes
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with teammates and cross-functional partners
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Comfort working with automated and AI-supported workflows while applying strong human judgment and quality standards

Travel & Team Engagement Expectations

This role requires up to 10% travel for team collaboration, customer engagements, and company events, including attendance at our annual company offsite.
