About the Role

The Startup Market Lead, AMER is responsible for driving startup acquisition and ecosystem growth across North America. Based in San Francisco or New York, you will lead regional market development initiatives, including partnerships, startup communities, events, and founder engagement.

Note: This is a hybrid role requiring in-office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days).

What You'll Achieve

• Drive startup acquisition growth across NAMER through partnerships, ecosystem initiatives, and events.
• Build and manage relationships with founders, accelerators, VCs, universities, and strategic partners.
• Increase awareness and adoption of Notion within the NAMER startup ecosystem.
• Execute regional campaigns to improve startup engagement and top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Partner with Marketing, Community, and Product teams to optimize acquisition efficiency.
• Represent Notion at key startup ecosystem events and founder gatherings.
• Contribute to scalable playbooks and regional market development frameworks.

Skills You'll Need

• Experience in startups, partnerships, business development, or growth-focused roles.
• Deep understanding of the NAMER startup ecosystem, particularly in the U.S.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically in fast-moving environments.
• Data-oriented mindset with a focus on measurable business impact.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
