
About the Role
Notion is looking for an Early Career Recruiter to reimagine our early career hiring strategy. This is a builder role for someone energized by cultivating emerging talent, crafting new programs, and obsessing over employer brand and candidate experience in the AI era.
You will own the end-to-end early career strategy, working closely with Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, and People teams to attract and develop the next generation of Notinos.
What You'll Achieve
- Differentiated Programs: Design and run durable, scalable recruiting programs for internships and new grad pipelines (0-2 years).
- Talent Discovery: Experiment with non-traditional sourcing, including hackathons, open-source communities, and AI-native tools.
- Evaluation Frameworks: Build innovative assessment models that reveal how candidates think and learn.
- Employer Brand: Partner with Comms and Design to articulate Notion’s value proposition to early-career talent.
- Hiring Capability: Coach and equip hiring managers to assess talent with nuance, fairness, and high standards.
Skills You'll Need
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, specifically in early career, university, or program-based hiring.
- A builder mentality with a passion for creating new processes from scratch.
- Strong instincts for candidate experience and employer branding.
- Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
- Data-driven mindset for decision-making and spotting patterns.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Nice to Haves
- Experience building early career programs from the ground up.
- Deep familiarity with the engineering and technical talent landscape.
- You are an active Notion user.
Work Environment
This role is based in San Francisco or New York City. We operate on a hybrid model with required in-office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days).
