Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for your area, from problem definition through delivery and iteration.
• Lead discovery with Finance, Payroll, and Operations, ensuring we solve manual bottlenecks, avoid invoice errors, and create trust with our customers.
• Partner with engineering and design as a true triad, facilitating problem discovery and solution design as a team.
• Improve how payroll cost changes, pricing adjustments, and invoice discrepancies are surfaced and resolved, reducing escalations and rework for Ops and Payroll teams.
• Own the payroll-to-invoice validation layer; ensure invoices are accurate, clear, and understandable.
• Build a path to correcting invoices without the complexities of cancelling and reissuing, eliminating unnecessary reissuing.
• Maintain an accurate single source of truth (SSOT) for pricing across the platform while allowing flexibility as the sales cycle demands, ensuring fees and billing configuration don't break downstream invoice data.

Requirements

• 4+ years in product management, with experience owning complex B2B SaaS or fintech products (billing, invoicing, pricing, or financial operations).
• Strong product fundamentals: managing product outcomes rather than just a backlog.
• Excellent stakeholder management and concise communication skills.
• Experience working on platform-level products with complex systems: data models, integrations, and cross-service dependencies.
• Strong commercial instinct: understanding how pricing architecture, invoice accuracy, and collection timing connect to the P&L.
• Track record of defining success metrics before scoping and iterating based on data.
• Comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
• Experience leveraging AI tools effectively to accelerate workflow.
• Hands-on experience with ERP integrations (e.g., NetSuite, Xero) is advantageous.
