About Supabase
Supabase is the open-source backend platform trusted by millions of developers to build web apps, SaaS products, and AI-native applications. Our Partnerships team works across the ecosystem—technology partners, cloud platforms, VCs, accelerators, and startup programs—to make Supabase the default backend for the next generation of companies.
About the Role
We're looking for a Field Marketing Manager to bring our partner ecosystem to life through enablement, events, and programs to raise awareness of Supabase's value proposition to early-stage startups. You'll own the materials, playbooks, and activations that help our partners—VCs, accelerators, incubators, and entrepreneurship programs—successfully promote and build with Supabase.
Note: Because the bulk of our events and partner activity is concentrated in San Francisco and the Bay Area, we strongly prefer candidates based there who can regularly attend and host events in person.
What You'll Do
- Enablement: Build and maintain partner enablement materials including decks, one-pagers, playbooks, and activation guides.
- Operations: Manage the operational cadence of partner programs, tracking activations and logistics across partner types.
- Events: Organize Supabase's presence at partner and VC-related events (demo days, founder summits, workshops) and run end-to-end hackathons.
- Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functionally with Partnerships, Startups, GTM, DevRel, and Marketing teams to align activities with pipeline goals.
- Measurement: Report on program impact, including signups, credit redemptions, and event outcomes.
- Strategy: Identify new enablement and program opportunities with clear ROI.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in partner enablement, program management, or event marketing (ideally in developer tools or venture ecosystems).
- Proven track record of running events from planning through post-event reporting.
- Strong project management instincts and ability to communicate with external stakeholders.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A bias toward measurement and data-driven reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) the San Francisco Bay Area, with availability for occasional evening/weekend events.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the developer tools landscape, AI infrastructure, or databases (Postgres).
- Experience working with startup accelerators (e.g., YC, Techstars) or VC platform teams.
- Background in DevRel-adjacent work.
- Experience with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot).
Why Supabase
- Fully remote team with flexible working hours.
- High ownership: this is a new role you get to shape.
- Competitive compensation and equity (ESOP).
- 100% health insurance coverage for employees (80% for dependents).
- Annual company off-sites and professional development allowance.
- Tech allowance for your home office setup.
