About the Role

We’re looking for a collaborative and analytical Product Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. You will work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to identify customer needs, pain points, and articulate “Why Tailscale?” into actionable go-to-market assets. This role is ideal for someone familiar with PAM, networking infrastructure, or enterprise security who can translate technical features into easy-to-digest benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• User Expertise: Become the expert on our users and customers—who they are, their pain points, and what drives them.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and marketing to refine positioning, messaging, and content.
• Product Launches: Manage cross-functional projects for new features, measuring revenue and pipeline impact.
• Sales Enablement: Create collateral including slide decks, one-pagers, training sessions, case studies, and webinars.
• Market Analysis: Perform competitive research to inform messaging, campaigns, and product strategy.
• Industry Presence: Represent Tailscale at events, delivering demos and gathering firsthand customer insights.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or related fields.
• Affinity for complex, highly technical subjects.
• Proven ability to manage interdependent, complex projects.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Bias toward action, execution, and iteration.

Nice to Have

• Startup experience.
• Experience with networking or security products in SaaS/cloud environments.
