About Vercel

Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company. We free people and agents to ship what’s next. For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.

About the Role

We're hiring a DevRel Engineer to work inside the product teams building Vercel's agentic infrastructure: AI Gateway, Sandbox, and the primitives that come after them. You'll sit with product and engineering, build with these tools before anyone else can, and show the world what they make possible. You will report to the Head of AI Infrastructure.

Note: If you’re based within a commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

Requirement: When applying, include a link to something you made that taught developers something (a talk, a repo, a post, or a video). Applications without one will not be considered.

What You Will Do

  • Build agents and applications on AI Gateway and Sandbox before they ship, turning insights into demos, templates, and open-source projects.
  • Teach developers how to build with agentic infrastructure through writing, talks, videos, and live coding.
  • Shape product roadmaps by sitting in planning meetings, identifying rough edges, and ensuring they are resolved before launch.
  • Own launch assets including example repos, demos, and documentation contributions.
  • Track ecosystem trends to identify developer pain points and missing primitives.

About You

  • 5+ years in engineering, DevRel, or DX roles with a proven public body of work.
  • Experience building and shipping AI applications or agents (tool calling, model routing, sandboxed code execution).
  • Strong TypeScript skills; comfortable in the Next.js and AI SDK ecosystem.
  • Ability to produce working demos and clear explanations rapidly.
  • Proven track record of influencing product roadmaps via developer feedback.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Mentorship and professional development support.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • Gear and WFH budget to outfit your workspace.
