About the Role

We’re looking for an FP&A Manager, Product to join our Finance team. You’ll be the financial lead for our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) organizations, owning OpEx and headcount planning while building scalable systems that improve visibility and decision-making.

What You Will Do

  • Own the Product investment envelope: Manage OpEx and headcount budgets across EPD, ensuring investments align with company strategy while maintaining disciplined spend and margin targets.
  • Drive rigorous workforce planning: Build bottoms-up headcount models by function and level. Partner with Engineering leaders to sequence hiring against roadmap needs and operational scale.
  • Model infrastructure economics: Develop forecasting models for cloud hosting, AI/compute, internal tooling, and SaaS applications. Identify optimization opportunities across the tech stack.
  • Translate priorities into financial tradeoffs: Evaluate build vs. buy decisions, capitalizable vs. expensed R&D, and vendor investments with clear ROI-grounded recommendations.
  • Elevate BvA rigor: Lead monthly budget vs. actuals reviews for EPD. Automate reporting and surface actionable insights.
  • Design scalable financial controls: Implement transparent, fast approval workflows for headcount and vendor spend using automation to reduce bottlenecks.

About You

  • Engineering Partner: Proven experience supporting technical teams and understanding how product velocity translates into financial outcomes.
  • SaaS Cost Expert: Fluent in cloud economics, AI/compute scaling, and how architecture decisions impact margins.
  • Workforce Planning Pro: Skilled in managing complex headcount models across multiple departments.
  • Advanced Modeler: Ability to build scenario-driven models with sensitivity analysis that stand up to executive scrutiny.
  • Systems-Oriented: Precision-focused with a track record of building scalable processes that eliminate forecasting blind spots.

  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Mentorship and professional development opportunities.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • Gear provided for your role, plus a WFH budget to outfit your space.
