Summary

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Fundraising Support Specialist to join their Online Fundraising team. This role is crucial for enabling the launch and optimization of fundraising campaigns across more than 20 languages and 30 countries annually.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Modify HTML and CSS content in web files for international campaigns, coordinating with Revenue Specialists. This includes updating translations, implementing copy tests, and verifying content with linguists and creative strategists.
• Implement new campaigns and banner tests within the CentralNotice banner delivery platform, ensuring test content is organized for clear reporting.
• Manage QA processes for the banner program, including cross-browser reviews and utilizing a "QA checklist." You will triage and verify bug solutions with developers and designers.
• Receive task instructions from Revenue Specialists and the Senior Manager of Fundraising Products, maintaining your own Asana board for priorities and contributing to workflows for campaign delivery.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with HTML and CSS is required. JavaScript knowledge is a plus but optional. The role requires comfort navigating code, implementing test overrides, and verifying changes.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to own and maintain quality assurance processes.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote, time-zone distributed environment.
• A strong desire to learn on the job and adapt to Wikimedia's unique movement and model.
• Experience with multilingual marketing or programs, and comfort working within distributed, international environments.
• Availability to work during December, a critical fundraising month.
• Occasional travel, approximately twice a year, including internationally.
