
About the Role
Canonical is seeking a Product Manager to help shape the future of open source software. As a technologist with a passion for business strategy, you will oversee the product lifecycle from conception to delivery, ensuring our solutions meet the needs of the global enterprise market.
This is a general application track for product management roles across various domains, including Ubuntu Platform, AI/ML, Cloud, IoT, Telco, Finance, Automotive, and Application Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Lifecycle: Lead the development lifecycle, setting vision, goals, and priorities.
- Strategy & Research: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to align on strategy and execution.
- Communication: Clearly articulate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to stakeholders.
- User Experience: Conduct usability testing and iterate on products based on user feedback.
- Go-to-Market: Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop GTM strategies, documentation, and training.
