The Role

We are looking for a Platform Product Manager to join our Payward Services team. This is a builder who can own a product roadmap end-to-end, go deep into flow mechanics, and ship regulated B2B2C products (KYC/KYB, lending, unified APIs) from concept to launch.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap and build-out for B2B2C platform products (KYC/KYB, lending, unified APIs).
• Define requirements, partner with Engineering on execution, and drive products from concept through launch and iteration.
• Get hands-on with the product itself: understand how flows work, where they break, what needs to change to scale, and what it takes to bring products to market in a regulated environment.
• Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to turn roadmap priorities into shipped products.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure new product builds meet regulatory requirements during the design and build process.
• Support operational functions tied to US-regulated entities as needed to maintain product momentum.

Requirements

• Strong product management experience owning roadmaps, shipping B2B or B2B2C products, and speaking fluently to strategy, requirements, and execution.
• Direct, hands-on experience implementing KYC — either building it in-house or standing up a KYC solution to resell or offer to external parties (Must-have).
• Experience building or managing platform products (shared infrastructure, APIs, internal client, or partner models) in a B2B or B2B2C context.
• Comfortable getting into technical details with Engineering.
• Working familiarity with the US regulated financial landscape to build compliant products without requiring a translator.
• Track record of driving complex, cross-functional builds without formal authority.
• Excellent communication skills across regulators, boards, engineers, and commercial partners.
• Working understanding of the financial services industry (gained at a major financial institution, fintech, startup, or adjacent regulated setup) regarding regulation, compliance, and money movement.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working at a KYC/KYB service provider.
• Crypto or digital assets experience, including familiarity with crypto-native operations (treasury and custody).
• Former founder or early product hire at a fintech or crypto startup.
