The Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to help build our next generation of engineering talent. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will own the full search process—from market mapping and sourcing to assessment and closing. While you will primarily focus on engineering, you will act as a generalist capable of supporting other functions as company priorities evolve.

What You’ll Do

• Strategy & Sourcing: Partner with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies and build high-quality pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, and network development.
• Assessment: Identify engineers with strong technical foundations, product judgment, and a track record of ownership. Conduct in-depth assessments covering technical fluency and cultural alignment.
• Execution: Maintain momentum through transparent communication, fast feedback loops, and clear ownership at every stage of the hiring process.
• Data & Process: Use funnel data and candidate feedback to refine sourcing strategies. Maintain accurate data in Ashby to ensure visibility for hiring partners.
• Collaboration: Contribute to the evolution of our Talent team’s operations.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, specifically hiring senior engineers at high-growth, product-led companies.
• Exceptional sourcing ability and a track record of building trusted relationships with demanding technical leaders.
• Strong judgment regarding technical talent and the ability to distinguish meaningful impact from interview performance.
• High operating discipline with a commitment to candidate experience and clear, persuasive communication.
• Comfort working in a small, distributed, high-performing team without heavy process.
• A strong preference for candidates based in the New York City area to facilitate local team partnership and candidate events.
