About the Role

You will own the path from commit to production on Render: the build system, the deploy experience, and the primitives that make delivery composable. This is a high-leverage role where you will solve critical scaling challenges for developers, ranging from solo builders to large engineering organizations.

What You'll Do

• Shape the Experience: Design build and deploy workflows that remain simple from prototype to complex, multi-service architectures.
• Own the Roadmap: Set the strategy for build/deploy speed, success rates, and failure diagnostics.
• Define Primitives: Build reusable capabilities like deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code primitives rather than one-off features.
• Drive Performance: Lead initiatives in caching, incremental builds, monorepo workflows, and build compute capacity.
• Improve Debuggability: Surface root causes directly to users to reduce time-to-resolution.
• Customer Advocacy: Translate customer feedback into platform patterns and partner with GTM teams on at-risk accounts.

Who You Are

• Experience: 6+ years of PM experience in developer tools, infrastructure, or platform products.
• Technical Depth: Significant expertise in CI/CD, build systems, containers, registries, and deployment strategies (canary, blue-green, etc.).
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to set multi-quarter direction and drive alignment across engineering, design, and GTM.
• Communication: Clear communicator capable of translating technical constraints to both engineers and stakeholders.
• Developer Obsession: High bar for speed, reliability, and legibility in developer tools.
