About the Role

We are looking for a Global Benefits Lead to join our People team. You will own the strategy, design, and execution of Vercel’s global benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and scalable across a distributed workforce spanning 30+ countries. This is a high-impact individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Total Rewards.

Note: This role is hybrid for those within commuting distance of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin) with anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you are located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote.

What You Will Do

• Strategy: Develop global benefits philosophy across health, welfare, retirement, leave, and wellness programs.
• U.S. Benefits: Evaluate and implement a self-insured health model, including financial modeling and vendor selection.
• Global Operations: Partner with EOR providers to ensure local compliance and consistent global philosophy.
• Execution: Lead global open enrollment, manage benefits budgets, and oversee broker/vendor relationships.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to U.S. and international regulations while building scalable processes for growth.

About You

• 8+ years of experience managing global benefits at a scaling company.
• Expertise in distributed workforces and EOR partner management.
• Direct experience with U.S. self-insured health plans.
• Strong financial modeling skills for budget forecasting and scenario planning.
• Ability to translate complex structures into clear communication for leadership and employees.
