About the Role

We’re reinventing how People Operations runs at Vercel. This role sits at the center of our HR tech stack, where you will build and integrate Vercel-powered tools to replace legacy busywork. You will own and evolve our core Workday integrations, partnering with People, Finance, IT, and Engineering stakeholders to ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.

What You Will Do

• Build and integrate Vercel-powered internal People tools to support a headless HR tech stack.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, APIs).
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate process requirements into reliable, well-documented integration solutions.
• Develop functional knowledge of hire-to-retire, compensation, benefits, and org management processes.
• Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and drive technical fixes.
• Maintain clear documentation of integration logic, field mappings, and processes.
• Contribute to testing, security, and change-management practices.

About You

• 4+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, APIs).
• Working knowledge of XML/XSLT, calculated fields, and the Workday Business Process Framework.
• Experience with generative AI and agentic coding platforms.
• Genuine interest in People Operations and the functional "why" behind processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to own discrete integration projects independently.
• Bonus: Experience using Workday Extend to build applications.
