About the Role

As a Brand Designer on Vercel's Core team, you will evolve the foundational visual language of a brand trusted by the world's most ambitious builders. This is a high-impact role where you will design systems, experiences, and brand moments that are creatively ambitious and built to scale.

We are looking for a tinkerer and visual strategist who uses AI throughout their workflow to design, prototype, and write code. You will work across brand systems, digital experiences, product launches, social, motion, and more.

What You’ll Do

• Lead design across key brand moments including product launches, campaigns, and events.
• Evolve foundational visual identity elements: typography, color, composition, motion, and product-brand expression.
• Move fluidly between Figma and code (HTML/CSS/JS) using AI-assisted tools like v0, Cursor, and Claude Code.
• Build and evolve a scalable brand system, translating it into production-ready assets and templates.
• Partner with design engineers to polish prototypes into high-quality digital experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and leadership to align on strategy and ship cohesive work.
• Direct external specialists when execution extends beyond your own craft.

About You

• 5+ years in brand, marketing, or visual design, ideally at a SaaS or developer tools company.
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, taste, and execution across mediums.
• Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills.
• Proficient in using AI tools (v0, Cursor, Claude Code) for prototyping, automation, and debugging code.
• Practical understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to refine prototypes to a high standard.
• Strong production knowledge across digital and physical formats.
