About the Role
Vercel is hiring a Senior HRBP to partner with our G&A organizations, including Finance, Legal, People, and Security & IT. You will work directly with C-Suite leaders to build people strategies that drive effectiveness, grow talent, and sustain a high-performance culture as we scale.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR advisor to senior leaders across Finance, Legal, People, and Security & IT.
- Translate business objectives into actionable people strategies, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Partner with executives on headcount planning and allocation to align talent resources with business priorities.
Talent & Performance
- Drive talent review and development processes.
- Coach and develop leaders at all levels on people management, feedback, and performance.
- Lead performance management cycles, including calibration and compensation review.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to build thoughtful hiring strategies.
Culture & Employee Experience
- Champion Vercel's culture and values across G&A.
- Identify and act on signals from engagement surveys and team health check-ins.
- Design and facilitate team offsites and workshops to foster connection.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Navigate complex employee relations matters with empathy and confidentiality.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and partner with Legal on compliance and risk mitigation.
Operational Excellence
- Analyze people data to inform recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to core People programs including onboarding, L&D, and DEI.
About You
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in a senior HRBP or generalist role supporting G&A functions.
- Experience in a fast-scaling, global tech company (startup/high-growth preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to build trust with senior executives.
- Deep expertise in organizational design, performance management, and talent planning.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to use data to tell stories and identify trends.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and executive presence.
- Experience with Workday, Greenhouse, and Notion is highly preferred.
